How scoring works
For each playoff game, predict the winner and the winning margin. Your score is based on how far your prediction is from the actual result.
Correct winner: You pick the Chiefs by 4. They win by 7.
Your score: |7 − 4| = 3 points.
Your score: |7 − 4| = 3 points.
Wrong winner: You pick the Chiefs by 4, but they lose by 3.
With a 4-point wrong-winner penalty, your score: 4 + 3 + 4 = 11 points.
With a 4-point wrong-winner penalty, your score: 4 + 3 + 4 = 11 points.
The wrong-winner penalty will be specified in the pool rules. A perfect prediction earns 0 points.
